Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, who on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) core committee in Raipur, highlighted the initiatives and schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and how he plans to implement them in his state.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Singh spoke at length about the policies brought in by Prime Minister Modi-led NDA regime at the Centre.
"Whether it the president of the Pradesh or the worker, our Prime Minister has drawn several plans for the benefit of the common man. The Chhattisgarh Government is working on all such policies, starting from "Beti Bachao" to "Beti Padhao" to Ujjwala to reach the common masses," said Singh.
"Prime Minister Modi's flexi schemes, Jan Dhan Yojana, Adhaar or mobile or road connectivity, ODF, Jan Jagran and others show where the state has reached," he added.
The core group meeting was also attended by central leaders, including Saudan Singh and Saroj Pandey, along with the state leaders.
Besides, the formation of a Kar Parishad and a Kar Samiti in Chhattisgarh, the activities of the organisation and district related plans were discussed in detail during the meeting.
