Chief Minister Raman Singh today laid the foundation stone for the Logistic Hub to be set up with an estimated cost of Rs 300 crore.
Earlier, the chief minister inaugurated Swagat Vatika, a garden at the entrance of Naya Raipur in Chherikhedi today. The logistics hub will be set up in village Navagaon of Naya Raipur Project Area.

The officials said that the hub would be developed across an area of 40 hectares. The Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) and Central Government's undertaking Container Corporation of India Ltd (ConCor) signed a mutual agreement for the project.
Speaking on the occasion, Raman Singh said that the upcoming logistics hub in Naya Raipur would provide wide range of facilities to the business world for transportation of goods, and would become a symbol of state's economic development. The state would become an important business destination of state.
The chief minister said that the construction of the logistics hub would be completed within 2 years, after which the goods manufactured by the industries in Chhattisgarh would not only be exported to other states of the country but also to the foreign destinations.
