The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will hold a day long conference, titled 'India -- The Big Picture', on the sidelines of International film festival of India (IFFI) in Panaji on November 22, a CII spokesman said today.
"The conference will focus on innovation in entertainment, digital revolution, new technologies and emergence of new revenue streams in the entertainment industry," he said.
"The day long conference will provide a platform to project in India as a global platform for entertainment business and will bring forth participation of film producers, exhibitors, distributors, post-production companies, film institutes, film funding bodies, venture capitalists, marketing and communication strategies and industry leaders," he added.
CII has been holding an annual conference, on the sidelines of IFFI, in Goa since last four years.
Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and External Affairs Anand Sharma, Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat, state Chief Secretary J P Singh, secretary Information and Broadcasting Sushma Singh and UTV Chief Executive Officer Ronnie Screwala will be present for the inaugural session, the spokesman added.
