The three-day summit, to be held jointly with the Andhra Pradesh government, will provide the required impetus for enhanced growth in the southern region with thrust on physical infrastructure in ports, highways, transport and connectivity, Ramachandra N Galla, chairman of Suminfra 2014, said in a release on Monday.
The 12th edition of the summit will also feature State Integrated Infrastructure Promotion (SIIP), a forum for state governments to promote opportunities for the private sector in infrastructure.

"The summit will highlight the key issues and challenges on structuring and delivering directions for next-generation infrastructure development and avenues for all the stakeholders," said Suresh Chitturi Rayudu, chairman, CII Andhra Pradesh state council.
The plenary sessions of the summit would discuss specific aspects for building smart and sustainable growth in key infrastructure sectors.
Private sector participation in infrastructure development, policy and regulation requirements, financing and viability options, contracting and legal issues, construction and capability building are some of the key focus areas of plenary sessions at the summit.
Coinciding Suminfra 2014, the CII is also organising a conference on renewable energy applications in Indian industry and buildings on December 12.
