The CITU, CPI(M)'s trade union arm, today said Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee was 'anti-industry' and announced agitational plans to counter the party.

"Mamata Banerjee is anti-industry," CITU state president Shyamal Chakraborty told reporters.

Announcing CITU's plans to counter the agitation of the Trinamool Congress, he said, "We will launch counter demostration and agitation at the gates of all factories where CITU has presence on September 3."

He said, "Mamata Banerjee has waged a war against the state. Raw material supply to the Tata's Nano project has stopped and prices of general goods are also moving up due to blockade at the Durgapur Expressway."
