Confusion prevailed over the exact number of Indian doctors linked to the failed terror plots in London and Scotland even as a leading daily claimed that the man who drove the vehicle in the Glasgow airport attack is also a doctor from India.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Kafeel Ahmed, the 27-year-old doctor who is critically ill after suffering 90 per cent burns following the jeep attack on Glasgow airport, is the brother of Sabeel Ahmed (26), who worked at Halton Hospital in Runcorn and Warrington Hospital. Sabeel Ahmed was arrested in Liverpool on Saturday.

According to the report, Kafeel and Sabeel are cousins of Mohammed Haneef (27), who worked at Halton Hospital before taking up a job on Australia's Gold Coast.

Haneef was arrested at Brisbane airport while trying to catch a flight to India.
