The JD(S) Karnataka unit today alleged that Congress was copying its programmes including extending loans to farmers at four per cent interest rate with an intention to woo voters. |
"The series of rallies planned by Congress from its /CT, women and labour wing were also the programmes JD(S) has already held and being copied by Congress," state unit president Merajuddin Patel claimed at a press conference here. |
JD(S) will contest all the 224 seats on its own in the coming assembly elections, he said and ruled out the party forging electoral pact with any political party. |
"We had a round of discussions on poll tie up with SP. But that party did not respond after that," Patel said. |
The party plans to release its first list of candidates on April 8, he said. |
