Crude oil price remained above $61 per barrel as traders awaited the latest data on US energy inventories.The Nymex main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in November, gained 22 cents to $61.23 per barrel in electronic deals before the official opening of the US market.In London, Brent North Sea crude for November delivery rose 20 cents to $60.32 per barrel in electronic trading.Prices had slumped to a six-month low below $60 on Monday.
