"The toll in the serial blasts has risen to 45 and 145 people have been injured," Health Minister Jaynarayan Vyas told reporters after attending a special Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
Vyas said the overall situation in the state after the blasts was discussed in the meeting.
"This is not a question of isolated attack on Gujarat. Such types of attacks have taken place in Rajasthan, Bangalore and other places. This is a conspiracy against nation," Vyas said.
"Our police is co-ordinating with other states and national security agencies to find out those involved in the blasts. We are confident that we will get to the bottom and find out persons behind it," Vyas said.
"We will not name any organisation before the agencies submit us a report," he said.

Sixteen serial blasts had rocked the city yesterday.
The cabinet meeting also discussed about faster disbursement of financial relief declared by the state government, Vyas said.
