The National Institute of Engineering and Eicher Centre for Automobile Technology, which was inaugurated here on May 28 will offer post-graduate diploma in automobile engineering to meet the increasing need for automobile engineers.
Hands-on, operational training will be the feature of the course, for which syllabi and curriculum will be worked out by institute-industry experts.
Experts from manufacturing, product development, quality assurance, supply chain management, customer service management, etc, drawn from various auto manufacturers will form the faculty.
