In what seems like he is backing Home Minister P Chidambaram in the 2G scam, DMK chief M Karunanidhi on Monday said, “We are not opposing him. I am against anything that would affect a minister from Tamil Nadu. I don't think Raja said he and Chidambaram decided spectrum pricing together”.
Chidambaram's name is the latest in the long list of ministers who have made their way into the spectrum scam. A finance ministry document has cast doubts over the role of Chidambaram, then the finance minister, in the decision taken by A Raja to issue 2G spectrum licences.
