Kolkata: Calcutta High Court judge Justice Soumitra Sen says he was "extremely disappointed" at Rajya Sabha's resounding vote to impeach him and ruled out his resignation.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court holds that the minimum eligibility percentage for admission in central universities for OBC category should be at most 10 per cent less than that of general category students.

New Delhi: Upping the ante, Anna Hazare gives a 12 day deadline to the government to pass the Jan Lok Pal bill failing which he will continue his fast "till my last breath".

New Delhi: In significant changes in draft Land Acquisition Bill, the proposed legislation will now be in force with retrospective effect and provide for five times higher compensation in terms of land to those affected in SC/ST category.
