Observing that people were fed up of corruption and looked for an opportunity to hit the streets, Anna Hazare today said the government should not take long to bring a strong Lok Pal Bill.
Seventy-three-year-old Hazare, who is on the third day of his fast inside Tihar jail, also said he was not "tired" at all.
Buoyed by the nationwide response to his anti-corruption campaign, Hazare in a video shot inside Tihar jail from where he will come out tomorrow, said the protests by "all my brothers and sisters, the elderly and the children" is giving him a "new energy" for his fast.
Hazare, who is all set to launch his protest fast from Ramlila Maidan tomorrow, thanked the people for joining his agitation against corruption and declared he will not stop till the country gets a strong anti-corruption ombudsman.
"The government should not take too much time now [to pass a strong Lok Pal Bill]. This is not a question of Anna Hazare. So many people have come out on the roads. Have they come out because of Anna Hazare? The people of this country are fed up with corruption.
"Their lives have become miserable because of corruption and price rise. Everywhere they have to pay bribes to get their works done. This is why they have come on roads as a last resort after exhausting all options...When the level of tolerance reduces, then people come out on the roads," he said.
About his health, Hazare said nothing will happen to him in the next 15 days and he will ask for another one week. He said there is nothing to worry about his health and he will not stop till the country gets a strong Lok Pal.
