The Dow Jones industrial closed for the first time above the 12,000-mark at 12,012, up 19 points. The Nasdaq was up four points at 2341.Indian ADRs ended in red. HDFC Bank dropped 1.8% to $66.48. Satyam, MTNL and Dr.Reddy's slipped over 1% each to $21.85, $6.90 and $15.95, respectively. Wipro, ICICI Bank, VSNL and Tata Motors were down nearly 1% each.
