The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 47 points to 12,280. The Nasdaq slipped six points to 2460.The Indian ADRs also ended mostly in red. Patni Computers dropped nearly 3% to $20.50. Infosys, Satyam, Wipro and VSNL declined 1-2% each to $53.56, $23.77, $15.55 and $19.30, respectively. HDFC Bank and Dr.Reddy's, however, advanced over 1% each to $75.23 and $16.61, respectively.
