The Dow Jones industrial average index gained 43 points at 11,993. The Nasdaq slipped eight points to 2337.Indian ADRs mostly ended with gains. Patni Computers soared over 5% to $21.31. ICICI Bank, MTNL and Dr.Reddy's surged 2-3% each to $33.66, $6.98 and $16.14, respectively. Infosys slipped over 1% to $51.
