The state government has decided to integrate the e-district application with Odisha Right to Public Services Act software.

The e-district application has been rolled out in all 30 districts. Presently, this application provides online service delivery facility of six services like issue of residence certificate, income certificate, caste certificate, solvency certificate, legal heir certificate and SEBC/OBC certificate.

Recently, online issue of Record of Right land patta is being piloted in districts like Ganjam and Mayurbhanj. A total of 4.3 million miscellaneous certificates have been issued through this online system till June 30 this year.

The proposal for rolling out more services was discussed at a meeting held here at the state secretariat. Chief Secretary, A P Padhi directed the departments to identify more citizen centric services that can be rolled out through this application.

As many as 23 services of nine departments namely revenue & disaster management, higher education, heath & family welfare, social security & empowerment of persons with disability, food supplies & consumer welfare, school & mass education, ST & SC development, skill development & technical education and general administration were enlisted.

For the purpose, a project was prepared with a budget estimate of Rs 71.54 crore to be funded on 50:50 sharing between the state and central government.
