The winner will vie for the World Entrepreneur of the Year title, to be given to a candidate from a list of 40 entries from as many countries. |

This year's nominees are persons who have played a significant role in the transformation of India and the way it is perceived in the world. |

They include Anil Singhvi, managing director, Gujarat Ambuja, who is responsible for turning the company into the third largest cement concern in India from a small regional player; Kishore Biyani, CEO, Future Group, who has changed the face of retailing in India; and Mahendra Mohan Gupta, chairman and managing director, Jagran Prakashan, under whose leadership Dainik Jagran has emerged as the fastest growing newspaper in the country. |

The jury, chaired by Sunil Mittal, has Keki Dadiseth, NK Singh, Nandan Nilekani and Rama Bijapurkar as members. |
