The Enforcement Directorate is likely to soon question a sacked senior official of the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee for alleged foreign exchange violation during the Queen's Baton Relay (QBR).
Official sources said the Directorate is likely to question Jayachandran, sacked treasurer of the OC.
They said Jayachandran, who did not turn up for an earlier date of questioning, has been issued fresh summons under the Foreign Exchange Management Act.
He was expelled from the OC on charges of alleged irregularities in Queen's Baton Relay in London.
Jayachandran's questioning comes after a couple of rounds of quizzing of his former colleague, OC Director General V K Verma.
The sources said besides the alleged irregularities in the QBR held in London last year, Jayachandran is also likely to be questioned on issues concerning overlays work.
