Rakesh Shah, chairman of EEPC, said the meet had generated enquiries worth $ 3 million and negotiations for orders worth $ 1.5 million were in the pipeline. |

A 24-member CIS delegation from Kazakhastan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia interacted with 82 Indian engineering companies from sectors like automobiles, tractors, auto parts, construction machinery, electric power machinery, internal combustion engine, industrial plant and machinery, scientific and medical equipment, steel pipes and tubes. |

"Buyer-seller meets of this nature with CIS countries would pave the way in increasing bilateral trade between these two countries as it would accelerate growth in engineering exports in the near future," said Shah. |
