Essar Oil Ltd (EOL), which will set up 300 retail outlets in Gujarat, has proposed to take 30 of these to backward areas of the state.
According to an Essar Oil Ltd official, the 300 retail outlets will be commissioned by 2005 in which over 30 outlets will be located in backward areas.
The company has appointed around 150 dealers and letters of appointments have been issued.
