Nifty May Futures ended at six points discount to spot at 4106 on Monday. The May series added open interest (OI) of around 12.75 lakh shares. June futures saw addition of 59,750 shares in OI.On the index options front, the Nifty May 4100 Call has seen a build-up of 27.3% of the total open interest in Calls. Total OI in Calls stood at 115.54 lakh, of which, OI at 4100 May Call was 31.60 lakh; OI at 4200 Call was 25.17 lakh, and OI at 4000 Call was 12.87 lakh.On the other hand, the Nifty May 4000 Put accounted for 23% concentration of the total OI in Puts. The total OI in Puts rose to 136.95 lakh, of which, OI at May 4000 Put was 31.85 lakh. OI for Nifty 4100 Put stood at 27.70 lakh (20.2%) and OI for 3800 Put was around 14.37 lakh shares.The Nifty OI Put-Call ratio moved up to 1.19. While Nifty Call options saw an addition of 3.50 lakh shares in OI, Put options saw increase of 7.35 lakh shares.
