The stability certificate will have to be obtained from a government-approved structural engineer and two copies of the same will have to be submitted. |
"Strict action will be taken against all factories and industrial establishments found functioning without submitting such a stability certificate," an official statement said. |
All factory and industrial establishments have been directed by the Gujarat government to renew their licenses for 2004 and 2005 before October 31 this year. The renewal application will have to be made in the form-III (two copies) and the fees will have to paid at the State Bank of India in the prescribed challan. |
The original licence, the original challan and the renewal application will have to be dispatched to the office of the deputy chief factory inspector located in the Nanpura area of the city before October 31. |
"Renewal fees have to be paid in the prescribed challan at the SBI branches. No cheques or drafts will be accepted," the statement said. |
Though October 31 is a public holiday, the office will function as usual and accept applications. |
Copies of Form-III can be downloaded from www.labour&employment.govt.in or could be procured from stationery shops dealing in such forms. The challans will also to be stamped by the Deputy Chief Factory Inspector's office before they are produced at the SBI, the statement said. |
