Ficci to lay out MP plan tomorrow

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci) will make its presentation "Destination Madhya Pradesh"�Global Investment Summit 2006" on July 5 at the Hotel Noor-Us-Sabah in Bhopal.

The meeting was scheduled on June 9 but was later postponed after the Advani-Jinnah episode.

According to state secretariat sources, a Ficci delegation would make a presentation along the lines of the one to the Gujarat government.

The Gujarat government, the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation and the Centre had shared the expenses of the project but in the case of Madhya Pradesh, the Rs 3.5 crore budget for the proposed project was yet to be worked out. The chamber will showcase MP on "second generation development roadmap."
