Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) has organised a multi-product buyer-seller meets in Oman, UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait between April 16 to 29 this year.

The organisation expects business of over $50 million from the meets. "We expect business of over $50 million in the multi product buyer-seller meet to be held next month in Gulf countries," said D Brar, joint director general, FIEO, western region, at an exporter awareness programme in Ahmedabad.

The programme was organised by FIEO in association with the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and was attended by over 120 exporters.

Shreyas Pandya, president GCCI, said: "The meet organised by FIEO is an extension of the confidence in our export products. I hope FIEO will, depending upon the success of the meet, also organise such meets in other regions too. "The export-import policy of our country has undergone a qualitative shift. This is the indication of the confidence we have developed in our products for exports," said Pandya.
