Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and state finance secretaries will meet on November 1 to discuss cash balances of states and infrastructure financing and issues of public private partnership projects, among other topics.
Besides, review of projects financed through multilateral assistance, financial inclusion plan, New Pension Scheme for Unorganised Sector, state government employees, agriculture credit, recovery of loans, agriculture insurance, and bank Branches in unbanked blocks, may also be taken up, an official statement said.
The Group is also likely to discuss 13th Finance Commission Award for states, it said.
Mukherjee will also inaugurate and address the 2nd Conference of Financial Commissioners/Finance Secretaries of State Governments/Union Territories.
