The Tatas, Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) and Daewoo alongwith two other companies have filed their proposals to be a strategic partner in the newly formed Chhattisgarh Gujarat Power Generation Company Ltd (CGPGCL), a joint venture of the two state governments.
Kolkata-based Development Consultant Pvt Ltd has been assigned the job of screening the proposals in order to finalise the partner, while the draft agreement would be signed with the Chhatisgarh state government on June 30.
Early this month, the company has been registered and it has already set up its office in the state capital Gandhinagar and now functioning under the nodal agency, Gujarat Power Corporation Ltd.
