FPSB India nominates two new board members

Neha Pandey Deoras Bangalore Financial Planning Standards Board India (FPSB India), the professional institution for financial planning, has announced the nomination two new members to the board of directors. KP Krishnan, IAS, Principal Secretary (Coordination), Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (DPAR), Government of Karnataka, and P Vijaya Bhaskar, executive director at Reserve Bank of India (RBI) have been nominated for the term April 2013 to March 2015.
In his prior assignment, Krishnan has served as Secretary in the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India. He belongs to the 1983 IAS batch and has been a civil servant for 28 years. He has also worked as advisor to the Executive Director of the World Bank in Washington, DC.
Bhaskar's present assignment at RBI includes looking after Central Security Cell, Department of Banking Supervision and Department of Non-Banking Supervision. In his prior assignment at RBI, he has served as the Regional Director of Karnataka.
