Goa CM woos industries

Goa chief minister has extended support and co-operation to the industrialists in an attempt to lure investments to the state.
 
Addressing a business meeting held under the aegis of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Manohar Parrikar, chief minister, Goa, said, "The government is ready to go to any length to solve the problems faced by the industrialists." Refuting the popular concept about Goa being a place for leisure only, he added that the state means business as well.
 
Goa industries minister Ramrao Dessai invited industrialists to participate in the industrial growth of the state, offering unwavering hospitality and warmth to all.
 
While describing about the advantages of the picturesque state, he said, the state was having an excellent water, road and railway connectivity.
 
"Low power rates, good water facilities and manpower were attractive features of the state as an investment destination," he added. "Goa has it all", he said and urged industrialists to look at the package of goodwill that Goa has to offer.
