He, however, said the state government does not expect any financial package.
"Don't expect Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give cash package for Goa. The money will come through various funding including 100% finance for new parallel bridge on Zuari river," he told reporters here last evening.

"The Central government has already decided to take up works worth Rs 3,000-4,000 crore in the state, including Rs 1,200 crore Zuari bridge, Rs 300 crore IIT and Rs 200 crore viability gap funding for convention centre to be built on public private partnership (PPP) basis," Parrikar said.
"In the next three years, the state will get projects worth Rs 5,000-Rs 10,000 crore," he said.
During his recent visit to Goa, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had laid a foundation stone for new bridge to be constructed by the state government.
He ruled out the possibility of imposing any toll on any of the bridges across the state.
