The state government has drawn up plans to showcase district-wise investment opportunities available in all the 23 districts of the state at the fourth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) in Hyderabad from January 7-9, 2006.

Disclosing this, chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who has reviewed the progress of arrangements for the PBD-06, during an interaction with officials, has emphasised the need to coordinate with the Prime Minister's Office and Government of India agencies to prepare an action plan to make the event a grand success and pave the way for attracting huge investments for industrial promotion, a press release said.

The three-day fete is expected to act as a forum to take forward various institutional initiatives.

The PBD-06 would provide a platform to 3,000 delegates, including 2000 overseas delegates expected to participate from across the globe.
