The government today said it may go for partial disinvestment as well as raise fresh equity in the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI).
"We are looking at various proposals. One of them is part disinvestment and part FPO (Follow On Public Offer)," Shipping Secretary K Mohandas told reporters here.
18 per cent of the shares of SCI are already held by the public.
