Govt plans demand survey for industrial plots

For this purpose, KSSIDC has proposed to develop 220 acres in Hunsur taluk of Mysore and Chamarajanagar districts

The Karnataka State Small Industries Development Corporation (KSSIDC), Mysore, has begun the acquisition process of lands for setting up new industrial layouts.

For this purpose, it has proposed to develop 220 acres in Hunsur taluk of Mysore district and Chamarajanagar district and allot industrial sites of different dimensions after developing the lands.

It is proposed to develop 120 acres of Hulenahalli village of Bilikeri Hobli of Hunsur taluk and 100 acres of Kuderu and Demahalli villages of Santhemarahalli in Chamarajanagar district and develop it by converting them into industrial sites of dimensions of 18x21 m, 21x26 m and 21x43 m for allotting them to the eligible entrepreneurs for setting up their units.

For this, the KSSIDC has proposed a demand survey (a survey to assess needs of companies) for industrial plots, said the assistant director, asking entrepreneurs to submit details of their proposed units  and suitable site required for establishing it, before 5.30 pm on May 31. Sites will be allotted according to the requirement on priority basis.
