Grade-A warehousing stock up 3.5% QoQ in second quarter of CY 2021

Trends in supply and absorption within Mumbai run opposite to those in Delhi NCR

About 3.83 million square feet of grade-A warehousing stock was added in tier-1 cities in the second quarter of calendar year 2021, up 3.5 per cent over the previous quarter and 50 per cent over Q2CY20.

Absorption of grade-A warehousing in tier-1 cities dipped by 15 per cent over the previous quarter and rose by 47 per cent over Q2CY20.

In the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, supply of these spaces declined by 48 per cent in Q2CY21 on a yearly basis and absorption rose by 145 per cent YoY. In NCR, supply increased by 66 per cent on a yearly baiss and absorption declined by 24 per cent, said data culled by CRE MATRIX.
