This move by the government will enable the farmers in the state to get their relevant land documents without any delay in processing, the minister said at a seminar on 'Changing trends in retail trade', organised in Surat by the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI).

Patel said these computerised offices would go a long way in cutting the red tape and making available the important 'saat bara' and 8 (A) land record document copies to the farmers without any delay in processing.

A nominal fee would be charged for providing these copies, he said.

The government is also setting up 'Nagrik Suvidha Kendras' in various parts of the state so that the people do not have to rush to their respective MLAs for all their works, he said.

Insearch Learning Systems director Husseinbhai Jasani presented a slide show on achieving success in a highly competitive environment.
