Gujarat to launch Bank of Wisdom on Jan 13

The Gujarat government will be launching the Bank of Wisdom in the state very soon, by creating a chat room where the transaction of knowledge in various fields will be done between the people from the state and Indians spread across the world.

"The state government will launch the Bank of Wisdom in the first month of the new year. The work is still under process and will be initiated on January 13. The cost of the project will be nominal. A database has been created from various fields such as education, telecommunication, desert management, environment management, check dams, water harvesting and others by experts," said Amarjit Singh, secretary incharge for industries.

"The motive behind the project is to get new knowledge in various fields for the development of the state," said Singh.

"The Bank of Wisdom is similar to other banks and financial institutions. All problems in various fields from the state will be tackled by the experts here. The idea is to benefit from the experience of experts in various fields spread across the world by creating a chat room," chief minister Narendra Modi said in Ahmedabad recently.
