Harsh Kumar Bhanwala has taken charge as Chairman of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard).
Bhanwala succeeds Prakash Bakshi, who retired in September, the apex agriculture development bank in a statement.
Bhanwala was earlier Executive Director at India Infrastructure Finance Company (IIFCL). He had also served as Chief General Manager looking after corporate planning, human resource development and credit enhancement at IIFCL.
He had also worked Nabard in various capacities as an officer. Bhanwala had also been Managing Director of the Delhi State Cooperative Bank.
