The state relief and rehabilitation department said that over 38 mandals in Srikakulam district, along with several areas of Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts, experienced heavy rains and several families have been evacuated from the low-lying areas of these districts. |

Rainfall of up to 8 cm was also received in Warangal and Karimnagar districts. The local meteorology department gave a heavy rainfall warning for the next 24 hours, according to which heavy rainfall at few places is likely to occur in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari of coastal Andhra Pradesh and Adilabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam of Telangana. |
