The wheat arrival in the state touched a new high of 50.98 lakh tonnes yesterday as against total arrival of a little over 37.37 lakh metric tonnes last year, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said.
He said in a statement that Haryana had also fulfilled its promise of contributing more than 50 lakh metric tonnes of wheat to the Central Pool by purchasing over 50.40 lakh metric tonnes of wheat till yesterday
