Hiring activity saw a modest growth of 3% in July, year-on-year, led largely by the ITES sector while auto, hospitality, education and healthcare continued to show "slow and steady growth", says a Naukri.com report.

Naukri Job Speak Index for July this year stood at 1,882, up 3% over the same month in 2015.

"Post an impressive 22% growth in June this year, though the index for July shows muted growth of just 3%, good news is the slow and steady growth in the non-IT sectors like auto, hospitality, education and healthcare to name a few," Naukri.com Chief Sales Officer V Suresh said.
