Domestic steel producers, like the Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), Tata Steel and Essar Steel, may increase prices of hot-rolled steel in the next couple of months.
With the political climate stabilising in West Asia, the demand for steel was likely to pick up in the coming months, industry analysts said.
