The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTR), Chairman, Mahendra Singh Chouhan has been removed from his post almost two months before his term was to expire.
Confirming his removal, Chouhan told PTI that he had received orders removing him from his post.He was appointed to the post on July two, 2004 for a period of five years.
The Institute comes under the Human Resource Development Ministry and it is understood that Chouhan has been removed as he campaigned for Congress in Sidhi against the HRD Minister, Arjun Singh's daughter, Veena Singh.
All attempts to contact Arjun Singh on phone from here for his comments on the removal went in vain.
