Cellular operator Hutchison will invest Rs 300 crore in the Gujarat circle for infrastructure development this year. The company, which started its operations in the state on January 24, 1997, has so far invested Rs 1,135 crore in the circle.
Meanwhile, Hutch on Friday became the first cellular operator in the country to cross the seven lakh subscriber mark.
