Addressing a news conference on Nitin Gadkari, an event that was awaited with bated breath by both Congress and BJP as well as the media,  Arvind Kejriwal today was at his evangelical best.

He called himself 'a man on a mission sent by God'.

"I have been sent here by God for a mission.  I wont stay here a minute longer than I am required to complete the mission for which I have come,'' he said dismissing the threats that have come from Law Minister Salman Khurshid.

Khurshid had allegedly told TV channels that he dared Kejriwal to come to his constituency of Farukkabad . He allegedly said that he could go there but probably not return back home.

Kejriwal said that his life was not in the hands of Salman Khurshid. It is in God's hands, he said, reciting a verse of Kabir 'Ja Ko Rakhe Saiya Maar Sake na koi'.

He then went on to elaborately explain his mission. "Our aim is to tell people that all parties are in collusion and all parties are part of one family and not to be trusted.''

"Our second aim was this. The people are scared. They are afraid of saying anything. We want to prepare them for a change in the system.'' he said,

Asked why he abandoned a case like that of Robert Vadra or Salman Khurshid after taking it up, he replied with a: why should we do everything? What will you and others do. We do our bit, and it is for others to continue to get deep into it, he said.

He said when he uncovered scams or irregularities, he did not expect anything from the Government. We dont demand anything from the Government, we dont expect anything either. We are not expecting an inquiry into Salman Khurshid or Robert Vadra. Our revelations are only addressed to the people of this country. For we want you to rise and get up quickly or there will be no time left, he said.

He said that if were to go deep into each case, it would be like witch hunting, which he is not. I am trying to say that all system is corrupt and it has to be overhauled, he said.

As for allegations against his associates like Prashant Bhushan concerning land dealings in Himachal Pradesh, Kejriwal said that wherever there are allegations, people had the Government, the courts, the CBI and Enforcement Directorate at their disposal and were free to use them and do inquiry into all allegations.

He says: Will the Congressmen ask for an inquiry into Vadra and will people in BJP ask for an inquiry into dealings of Gadkari? We wont do anything to save ourselves. Let an inquiry be done and let punishment for anti corruption activists caught doing wrong be double of what it is for others

He then went on to call on bureaucrats in the country to emulate IAS officer Ashok Khemka who was recently transferred for the 41st time in 20 years for probing land deals of Robert Vadra.

He also called on all citizens to join him in Farukkabad on November 1 in Salman Khurshid's constituency. We will show him that we are not alone and that we would go there and come back too, he said.
