Income Tax officials today resumed questioning former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda, who is facing charges of money laundering and illegal investments, at his residence here.
The I-T sleuths had suspended questioning after he was taken ill on November 3.
During a massive countrywide search on October 31, the I-T had unearthed documents which allegedly suggested hawala transactions and illegal investments to the tune of over Rs 2,000 crore by Koda.
The I-T raids were launched a fortnight after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed an Enforcement Case Information Report against Koda and his former cabinet colleagues Kamlesh Singh, Bhanu Pratap Sahi and Bandhu Tirkey.
Koda is also summoned to appear before the ED on November 15 for questioning.
