Indian Airlines employees affiliated to the Air Corporation Employees Union (ACEU) today called off their plan to go on mass casual leave on Friday as the tripartite reconciliation talks between the union, Labour Commissioner, and the management started today.ACEU members, however, said they will go on two-hour mass walkout that they staged today, which, of course, did not lead to any major disruption of air traffic. "The Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) told us to wait for a week before taking any further steps for agitation. We have decided to follow their advice. If nothing happens by then, we will go for direct action the following week," B K Badola, president, ACEU said after the meeting this evening.
