IBMR plans to set up foreign campuses

Currently, IBMR's campuses are situated in Bangalore, Hubli and Ahmedabad where it offers graduate and post graduate level programmes in management, business administration, computer application and mass communication. IBMR is now looking at new campuses in cities including Kolkata, Delhi/Noida, Indore/Nagpur/Jaipur among others. The university is trying to cover the western, northern and eastern parts of the country.

Around 2,200 students have graduated from IBMR and close to 2,000 students are studying at the three campuses. In order to bring more international exposure to its students, the institute has decided to launch a dual-degree programme with the University of Stirling, Scotland. The participating students would study for one year at the local IBMR campus and at Scotland for the second year.

They would be eligible for an MBA degree from IBMR as well as an international MBA degree from University of Stirling, Scotland, said C Manohar, executive director and dean IBMR, Bangalore. The fees for the dual-degree programme would be approximately 10,000 pounds.
