ICFAI to organise investment fair

ICFAI Business School, Bhubaneswar, is organising a two-day investment fair under the banner of "Invostop-2004" at the premises of Jaydev Bhavan, here on January 15 and 16.
 
Such a fair is first of its kind in the city and intends to help people of all income groups to have a fair knowledge of the opportunities/facilities available for savings and investments in the financial market.
 
According to Subrat Sarangi, principal of the institute, the event will offer a forum of expression for the financial sector participants to exhibit their products, interact with their customers and know the nerves of the market.
 
Some of the major participants in the fair will be ABN Amro, HDFC, LIC, Oriental Insurance, HDFC Standard Life, HDFC Mutual Fund, HUDCO, ICICI (Direct) and a host of other financial service firms.
 
In addition to the stalls put up by these companies, the fair will feature seminars on relevant topics such as home finance, futures and options, etc. Besides, there will be an open BIZ Quiz.
 
The fair aspires to offer a unique experience of counselling for the providers and receivers of financial products and services in the city. The specially designed counselling seminar will help the corporate address their prospective clients and make their visions clear to them, Sarangi said.
 
ICFAI Business School is a constituent of the ICFAI University and established by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI).
