Hyderabad-based Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (Icfai), which proposes to set up a Rs 150 crore private university in Orissa, wants faster action from the state government to implement the project. Icfai has identified 30 acres of land between Bhubaneswar and Khurda for the proposed university and pins its hopes on the state government for early passage of the Icfai University Bill.
Addressing media persons here, R S Prasad, chief manager (corporate communications department) of IBS-Hyderabad said, “The Bill for setting up the Icfai University was tabled in the Orissa assembly. Legislative procedures take their time”.
