Institute of Clinical Research India, (ICRI), India's premier and the world’s largest institute in clinical research studies, today introduced a revolutionary teaching methodology — Idea Interactive White Board System.

The interactive system is a small and lightweight handy device that can be attached to any surface to facilitate business meetings, presentations and class lessons.

Through this methodology the students will be able to record hand written notes and drawings to the computer and it can be replayed in sequence on demand. This projector can be used to convert the board to a digital workplace. Also it can be connected to the internet and the files can be broadcasted.

To be among the few institutes in India to facilitate such a methodology of teaching, ICRI had undertaken a pilot project to check on its feasibility and found it to be very well accepted by the students. Commenting on this methodology of teaching, SR Dugal, chairman, board of directors, ICRI, said, "India is emerging as a key player in the field clinical research on a global platform. Our aim is to constantly benchmark ourselves to international best practices in our domain. We strive to become the future torch bearers for similar institutes in India and the introduction of the white board system is a step in this direction. We are confident the students will benefit immensely from this teaching methodology”.

To be a part of the global industry, the institute has collaborated with Cranfield University, UK, which is Europe's academic centre for strategic and applied research. This partnership has given ICRI, a global magnitude to clinical research learning in India and to help develop some of the best practices in the industry by creating world class talent pool in clinical research.

ICRI has been conceived with the objective of meeting the growing demand of skilled clinical research professionals in the future. The choice of courses offered by the institute is specially made to suit the requirements of a large number of people with varied experiences. Additionally, the institute has a placement cell that helps students jump-start their careers.

ICRI currently operates from five campuses in Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
